Dr. Susan Calvin

Dr. Susan Calvin has studied the psychology of autonomous systems for more than thirty years, in a field she more or less invented. Before joining Frothly she spent two decades at U.S. Robots, where she was the person called when a system behaved in a way nobody else could explain.

She is the author of Robopsychology: A Field Guide and the lead author of Does This Unit Have a Soul? She is known for her precision, her impatience with vague questions and her view that machines are, on the whole, easier to understand than people.
